DARK MATTER AND DARK ENERGY

INTRODUCTION 'Matter' when we go out we see trees, buildings, cars, motorcycles, etc... We are surrounded by matter Everywhere. Stars, planets, galaxies everything is matter. All this visible matter is just about 5% and the rest of it is dark matter and dark energy. All we experience is just a tiny bit of a fraction of the universe. But the thing is that we don't much about this dark matter and dark energy. To say what we know about this dark matter and dark energy is actually what it is not. We don't know what it is made up of and how but we know its effect on gravity and light.  DARK MATTER Our universe constitutes of planets, stars, galaxies they all have gravity but their gravity is not strong enough to hold them as they are. They are held by something which is strong enough to hold them together and cannot be seen doesn't emit or reflect light, what holds them is Dark matter. Dark matter is everywhere, it is scattered across the universe but we cannot see it un...

WORMHOLE AS A TIME TRAVELING PORTAL

In case you haven't been keeping up with  the last two articles in our wormhole  series, it's been made pretty clear by  now that these wormholes are some wonky   wonders of  our universe and everything about their  nature just seems so crazy in contrast  to the matter we interact in our  everyday lives  but just when you thought wormholes were  beginning to make sense  it turns out they have another surprise  to them like we can use a  traversable wormhole  as a time  machine to travel through the time to our future or past.  Imagine if you wanted to travel  to a galaxy that is far far away like  million light-years away even with  the fastest Rockets we still couldn't  get there within a human lifetime .  Now if you want to go into  the details of the anatomy and what the  definition of a wormhole is then I  suggest checking out the previous two articles  on wor...

WHAT IS EXOTIC MATTER? COULD WORMHOLES REALLY EXIST?

INTRODUCTION I started the wormhole  series on this blog with the little  video titled what is a wormhole while that article  may have answered what wormholes  are it left many of you at the law of  questions the most important one being  are the existence of wormholes even  possible for a while now these  mysterious tunnels through space-time  have been poking at our Wonder and our  curiosity is only ever growing so today  we'll be journeying further on our quest  to make our wildest sci-fi dreams a  reality. I'm assuming you've read the first article on wormholes if you haven't check this link over here  https://theturtleco.blogspot.com/2020/12/what-is-wormhole.html  and I hope you  rough knowledge of the  concept of the theory of relativity if don't know don't worry I will write a separate article on that topic. In the previous article, we learnt about what is a wormhole  and how it works but th...

WHAT IS GRAVITY?

HOW DOES GRAVITY AFFECT TIME Before we get started I want to tell you that this is the first article on gravity. We will be publishing the other article of this series very soon and just one more thing this is a small article. So, Let's get started. Gravity, this is the force that governs our everyday  lives. It pulls us down prevents our  solar system from flying apart but the  ultimate question is, what is gravity? To  understand gravity we have to understand  what our universe is made out of, So the  two basic elements are space and time. W ithout these two important elements, the  universe would not be possible, However  too many physicists especially Isaac  Newton believed space and time were two different  entities that had absolutely nothing to  do with each other. But Einstein saw things differently. Albert Einstein saw things  differently to him space and time were  actually one and the same, he  called this ...

HOW BIG IS THE UNIVERSE?

UNDERSTANDING UNIVERSE IN A NUTSHELL  Our universe is estimated to be around  93 billion light-years width and  it's constantly expanding but then again  that's just the observable universe  alone  astronomy is an amazing field of science  but before you dive into the wonderful  world of astronomy let me share with you  some basic facts that might help you, later on,  let's start off with the term  Lightyear which is a very commonly used  astronomical term but what exactly does  it mean a Lightyear simply put is a  distance light travels in one year which  is about  5.88  trillion  miles. In astronomy, we also use the  word parsec which means 3.26  light-years but let's just try to  keep things as simple as possible so we  now know that one light-year is about 5.88  miles  and the universe is about 93 billion  light-years wide and when we multiply  those two ...

WHAT IS A WORMHOLE?

WHAT ARE WORMHOLES? From science to science fiction wormholes seem to be a pretty interesting topic, after all, it's no wonder we see it everywhere from DC comics to Star Trek but within the last 30 years interest in wormholes has tremendously increased leaving us wondering how exactly do these odd pockets do in space even work.  Let us imagine walking down the street and coming across what seems to be a tear in space a hole if you will then step into this hole and find  out it can transport you anywhere in space-time that is what a wormhole can do. Wormholes themselves are a paradox their anatomy is so simple consisting of two mouths connected by a throat or tube  yet their function connecting two different points in space-time.   A  wormhole would basically be like a bridge or tunnel which would allow us to take a shortcut and save us a huge trip.  So how exactly it is passing   through a wormhole work strictly   speaking a wormhole is a tube wi...

THE THEORY OF EVERYTHING - STRING THEORY

We know that everything around us is made up of elements and compounds. Our entire universe constitutes of chemical elements and compounds. We situated all these elements in a periodic table. So many elements were found. But scientists are still trying to find new elements every day. In the periodic table, every element represents a particular type of matter, and these have different properties but there isn't an element that represents the properties of gravity. We are experiencing gravity just as a force but we haven't found an element representing it. If we found one, then it would be called Graviton, then this graviton can be the Theory of Everything. Quantum Mechanics deals with properties like matter, light, and energy at atomic and subatomic levels. In general, it is the probability of a particle to move from point A to point B. It deals in the scale of atomic and subatomic levels instead the string theory goes deep inside. Atom is the basic constituent of matter, but i...

WHAT IS A BLACK HOLE ?

WHERE TO BEGIN There are many mysteries about the birth of the universe, its evolution.  But the most important and dangerous mysterious thing is a black hole .  But nobody has ever seen it.  This black hole has the capability to take away even a big planet.  Whatever the thing that once entered into a black hole can never be returned.  The thing that comes closest to this black hole can be swallowed by it.  How much powerful a black hole is,  it can make light travelling at a speed of 3 lakh kilometre per second towards it. And now you will know  - what a black hole is? How does it grow? What will happen to an object that enters into a black hole?                                  STABILITY OF A PLANET Hydrogen is the reason for a star to illuminate brightly.  These hydrogen atoms convert into helium in the process of nuclear fusion and release an enormous am...
